Blueberry Muffin Smoothie

Blueberries just make me think of Summer.  Blueberry picking, blueberry crisps, muffins, you name it! In honor of my love for a good blueberry muffin for breakfast, I am sharing a smoothie with you!  This gem is a great breakfast or post workout snack and is packed with antioxidants, fiber, and even some hidden greens.   Blend and enjoy!


BLUEBERRY MUFFIN SMOOTHIE

Yields 1:

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup almond (or other nut milk)
  • 1 banana (I prefer mine frozen but either will work!)
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup gluten free oats
  • Handful of spinach
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • Β½ teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a high speed blender.  BLEND, SERVE, and SIP!  Option to top with sprinkle of additional chia seeds or cinnamon.
