Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend.  We had a busy weekend of work, and most definitely some fun mixed in.  Saturday was a bit of a whirlwind with work, and then out to dinner downtown for some delicious sushi with some family friends that were visiting.  Mike and I were able to get up early Sunday morning for a long bike ride on the coast, and do some work.  We also visited a local blueberry farm to get an incredible haul of freshly picked berries.

It was so much fun just chatting and picking them together.  Mike had a little bit of a hard time telling which were ripe as he is mildly colorblind, so it was pretty comical.  We also got a long walk in, baking (which I will share recipe with you this week), dinner outside and even some relaxing in front of the TV watching a show together.

All in all a great weekend...so why the case of the Mondays!?  We both woke up this morning after not having a great night's sleep and were a bit grumpy (I think having to say goodbye contributed).  After he left on the bus to head back to Boston I got myself thinking that I needed to turn my attitude around a bit.  There is so much joy and so much to be thankful for, and rather than being bummed the weekend is over and he is leaving... reframing that into "Wow, we had such a fun Sunday together!"
